Would love to know also. The girlfriend is driving from Edenderry to Portloaise in the morning for work. Clonbullogue -Bracknagh-Portarlington then on to Portlaoise. Do these roads be gritted at all during winter?

Port to Portlaoise is gritted anyway and as good as can be expected. Port to Tullamore is fine too.

Thanks..She drove in this morning safe, the roads were not too bad but the estates beside/around the new schools in portlaoise where she works are lethal.

How are the roads around Portarlington at the moment? coming off the m7 which would be the better option, the Emo or Monestervin exit ?

The road around Edenderry are bad the last few days even worse today with the lack of grit. Portarlington is not to far from here and im sure they are in similar/worse shape. They got more snow today than us..
