Looks like a good deal and reasonable reviews for it too and of course you can never have too many media players!

When I paid I didnt get charged any shipping. Haven't bought anything on the site in a long time so maybe they have eliminated the shipping charge or maybe I got lucky:)

**** and I just bought the other one from iBood the other day that didn't have any storage in it, so I have to go and pick up a harddrive for it so I'll end up spending way more than I would have had I bought this.**** sake!!!

Maybe I missed it, but I can't see any storage mentioned in the specs of this one?

There is no hard drive included or bay in it that I can see either. I think the 9150 did have that spec.

Seems to have .mkv play back issues too and having searched the netgear site I can't see any firmware updates? Though in fairness there seems to be some issue in standardising .mkv files and headers and stuff with a lot of media players...stuff that I don't really understand :)

    My 2 cent.

Thats right theres no hard drive and you cant add one but for 60 squids it would be a steal if you were getting storage as well

Excuse my ignorance. How does this machine work? Can it pick up wireless internet and let me look at youtube/websites on my tv or does it have to have some sort of hard drive connected to it?

Chipset is old and slow...I've been through a few HD media players at this stage and really the newer chipsets are much better. For a start, you will have problems playing files with DTS audio with the Sigma 8634 chipset used in this player. You'll need to feed the audio to a receiver with DTS decoder (it won't be downmixed through the HDMI). It is also a slow chipset compared to the newer ones now available.
