Being searching now two months, not many jobs seem to be going in general farm work and management. Anyone know of anyone in Mayo/Galway(the girlfriend works in Castlebar) or Cork area? Thanks lads.

Thanks lads, being watching Fas and the Journal closely, applying for everything but not many replys back. If anyone knows of anyone it would be great. I have my green cert and travelled in New Zealand and America working on Dairy farms. Farming at home with my Father since the age of 18 and working on farms around Cork for 8 years (i am28). I also do AI (i was a rep for a AI company) and can carry our hoof paring. (A little plug for myself there:rolleyes:

you have to realise that there could be 30 or 40 applicants for each job in the journal/fas , alot of these are wasters , if you are serious ring the person again a few days later to show you are very interested
