Im sure like LHR we can expect their 777's possibly the amazingly long and lovely 777-300ER's. They usually fly the USA routes along with the 777-200LR's. Im not sure if their 747-400's fly the USA Routes, it is not mentioned on their Website.

There was a 777-300ER (emirates i think) parked beside the ****ty air canada 767 I was on in Toronto. The 777 was flippin huge!!

Also saw an air India 747 in Chicago 2 years back, dunno if they still use them on the route. Have pics but am on my mobile at the minute.

would a fully loaded 777 be able to take off from 28? would it need full fuel for the states?

Delta used to fly 777's DUB-ATL about 10 years ago, so yes, 28 is fine.

I thought they were discussing this a few months ago, but decided to operate the 777s nonstop, that they had just decided to abandon a european stopover on most of their flights? Hopefully i am wrong, it would be interesting to see a bit of variety around Dublin
