Hi, Wondering can anyone point me in the right direction on this one. The drivers side LED mirror indicator is not working on my VW Jetta. It was cracked anyway so I thought if I get a new one this will sort the problem.

I fitted the new one but no luck. I then tested the old one with a 12v battery and it works fine. The voltage on the lead coming to the unit is very low (i think about 5VDC). Anyone any idea where to go from here, is there a control unit involved somewhere that is faulty?

Car failed the NCT on this and I was hoping to get it sorted out without too much fuss.
