    My wife dosent.
Is it worth the hassle. It seems like a massive job.
Is there an easy way to do it?

Would it make me less of a man if I did and liked the smooth feel?
Would I notice the smooth feel?

I get alot less sleep since we had our 18 month old and I need to make the few hours count.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Wavey.

the old trick to avoid ironing was to put stuff under the mattress and sleep on it

so you could get two sets of fitted sheets one on each side and just flip it over every so often

In fairness they make good room heaters too as many students who've huddled in front of a glowing Iron would know

I am a woman and I totally agree..I have no idea when I last used my iron..its set up in my spare room gathering dust.....wash the clothes / sheets etc remove promptly from the machine, hand carefully and there is no need....or dont buy stuff that look like they need ironing.....:P

I heard of this guy once. He was badgered into ironing the curtains by his missus... Fell out the window.

BGRH meet Iron. Iron meet the gang:

Stay away from this guy if it can be avoided. As George Hamilton would say "Danger Here".

You can get "non-iron" sheets, I think thats what they are called. They do not get harsh creases if thats what bothers you.

A mate of mine irons socks & boxer shorts.

Tumble dry and fold/hang straight away, might ocasioanlly iron a shirt if going somewhere important/special/in with a chance.

I defo wouldn't iron them, would take ages and still look creased!

To me it's worth dropping dirty sheets to the laundrette who wash, dry and iron sheets and duvet covers for €15.
