I open chrome as usual and I got this message:

    KyqmW.png

    Anyone got this before?

I thought it's unlimited? And I don't think I'm even using that much. Is there a way to check?

You thought wrong...it most certainly is *not* unlimited, that's just advertising blurb (wrong though it is)

It's 30Gb per month as far as I know and is covered by their "Fair" Use policy.

I'm afraid Wimax is not unlimited as advised above it comes with a FUP which all ISP's come with infact.

You got a warning from Imagine. WiMax is just a technology, not a company. Title modified and thread moved to Midband.

I download 10Gb a day, not a moan from my IP company!

I remember there being anger in the USA against comcast a few years ago because their unlimited download limit turned out to have a 200GB cap. The cheek of companies here calling 30GB "unlimited"...

30 gigs? Geez, I've did that in a day once.

How can I check my usage?

You can expect to be throttled fairly soon then.

Yeah but you're not a real man until you've downloaded 20mb on a 14k US Robotics modem. We were pioneers in them days!! :D

    Pfffst!

    Sissy stuff..

Accessing Arpanet via bitnet via BT Gold via X.25 via PAD via 300 baud dialup PSTN on CPM/80.

You were a "real" user if you had 8" Floppies and 5Mbyte full height HDD (twice height of a CD/DVD full size drive).

    YOU WERE LUCKYYYYYYY!
I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah!.

Nah just kidding, you win!. I never made it onto Arpanet ya old fart! :D

Used to have one of those, but we had to stop using it when the wheel fell off :p

    Seriously
I missed out on the good old days when a local call was 10p regardless of how long you connected for :( For me it was 2,400bps into a BBS using scrap parts, sitting on the desk because I didn't have a case (everything had been replaced as faulty from customers machines, had to tap the HDD on startup because of stiction, the eventual fix was to sit it on top of a SCSI drive vibrations and all that)

You guys were all very posh, I had to use an Amiga 500 with an acoustic modem (complete with wooden box) and a battery from a motorbike hooked up to a payphone to get access - along with whistling a certain frequency down the line beforehand ;)
