    Can anyone tell me how many miles you would get from Toyota Celica
    2001 6 spd 190bhp on a full tank of petrol without driving it too hard.

    Depends on whether your doing long journeys, short journeys, motorway trips, just in traffic trips....

    it would be mainly motorway miles as i want to compare it to
    my ex car which was a Mazda Rx8

    Compared to the Rx8 you'll think your in a diesel when driving the Celica :D

    Motorway about 325 miles, city driving about 275, using lift alot about 200 or less.

    like a diesel sounds good but just give us a rough estimate
    on a full tank if it were motorway miles.

    I have the exact same car,
    a full tank of fuel normally lasts me 2 weeks,that would be around 300miles,with the a/c on,and varied conditions.
    Last year I filled it up and drove from the east coast of england (norfolk)to holyhead,
    and got as far as Roscrea co tipp before I had to fill it again,
    that was with a passenger and luggage,and a/c off,not sure of the exact distance but it would be approaching 400 miles,
    I was quite pleased with that.
    Hope this helps.
    BTW,I've had the car 2 and a half years,and apart from servicing, a set of tyres and a battery,it hasn't needed anything else.
