Roughly 10% discounts across most Apple product lines on Apple.ie. 24 hours only I'd imagine!

I'm both relieved and annoyed that there's no discount on the AppleTV! I know they don't usually discount it but I was kinda hoping...

10% off a huge price is still a huge price. Nothing worth shouting about really.

Interesting to see what they do with the iMac. Dell are now producing an all-in-one that on paper completely and utterly wipes the floor with the iMac - twice the spec for the same price. The all-in-one with the same spec as the iMac is €500 cheaper.

Don't know what usability is like, but it very competently competes with the iMac in the looks stakes.

Any chance you could give me a linky or point me in the right direction? Model no. Or something.
    Cheers buddy!

Spec is good, but "but it very competently competes with the iMac in the looks stakes"???? Sorry, but it looks awful

101euro off a macbook is still 101euro in your pocket that you didn't have yesterday! I'm not saying that everyone should rush out and buy one, but if you were thinking of buying one for xmas, it should definitely be purchased today.

Just be aware that both these revs of the Macbook/Macbook Pro are approaching end of life.

If the company you work for is a member of "groupschemes" you get the discounts that Apple are giving today , all the time.

It's not just the machine you're buying, imo OSX is a superior OS and the build quality of mac's in general is superb - I can guarantee you it will last longer than your average dell any-day.

Picked up the official ipad dock as well as the griffin loop stand, won't get my hands on them till santa drops them down the chimney though. :p
