Hey all... will be spending a few days over in CUH... new baby arriving (hopefully!). Anyone know if there is a weekly parking pass or something? might be better than €12 per day.
Just read that they made €1.9 million on parking over there last year!!!

You can get a three day pass for €21 but they do not advertise it, it is a joke the fees that hospital charges CUH & CUMH. Park in the underground car park of CUMH and ask the Security staff at the desk about it on the first day and say you want to avail of it, thing is the HSE flogged the parking rights to some private crowd so the Security have no direct control. Another fine mess from the party of Failure.

when we went in to have our daughter we parked in the underground car park in the cumh, we weren't exactly worrying about parking fee's at that time,

so after she was born my partner realised he forgotten about the parking (this was about 12 hours later and we didn't know about the daily fee) so he asked one of the nurses what should he do about it, they told him not to worry about it to take the ticket to the nurses station and they'd look after him there, turns out they can give you free parking for one car if you are there to have a baby, he didn't have to pay for parking over the 3 days at all!
