I thought with everyone watching for snow over the next coming days we could all share our favourite lamp post for snow watching.

What about those of us 15 minutes driving from the nearest lamp post, what will we do?

Meh, you city folk can have your lamp posts, i'll just enjoy the lower temps that ruralness brings;)

I'm with Beasterly, rural Ireland is so much better that we don't need lamp posts, we get snow and we aren't afraid of the dark :p

I've got two street lights to choose from, brighter than that one and closer too.

Shall take a pic whenever the snow arrives!

I think my wife considers getting me help every winter, although my understanding of the weather charts is minimal just the hint of snow and im staring out the kitchen window at the lamp post every 2 minutes!

My lampost brings all the boys to the yard,
    And their like
    It's better than yours,
Damn right it's better than yours,
    I can teach you,
    But I have to charge

    I snow you want it,
    The thing that makes me,
What the guys go crazy for.
    They lose their minds,
    The way I snow,
    I think you know

tbh its much more satisfying watching the ground and the ever deepening blanket of white as gauged by the tyres of the car gradually disappearing into it. I dont care what flys by the nearest lamppost if it hasn't the decency to stick around on the ground (FF politians excepted, they can keep going... preferably to Bothar, so they can be sent to Africa to fertilize the soil with their manure...:D)

My husband is a bit shocked at my love of extreme weather conditions: snow, flooding, wind etc.

He does think there is something a little bit wrong with me :confused::confused:
