Is there an android NFS client? I've googled but Need For Speed is killing my results.

I have an NFS server that has all of my video collection on it and would like to be able to mount it on an android tablet when I buy one at some point in the next few weeks.

Try a file explorer like estrongs?
I know it works for smb shares, but I haven't disabled smb to try Nfs on its own.

    estrongs doesn't support nfs. :(

Does anyone know how straightforward it is to compile this kind of stuff yourself? I'm comfortable doing kernel compiles on "normal" linux.

Yeah, sorry, I checked that this morning and meant to post earlier.

However, check out cifsmanager (available on the market). It requires root - I'll try it out at home later.

Thanks. :) Appreciate it. I did some more googling. Seems CIFS is possible with a command line which I'd be happy enough with. Haven't found anything solid about NFS though. I'd need to change my network share to CIFS (or maybe have both NFS and CIFS). I think I could handle that.

Could you tell me, is there a mount.nfs file anywhere on your version of android? it would usually be in the sbin folder (so I think /system/sbin/mount.nfs on an android device...though I'm not entirely sure).

I'm currently getting the no such device error, I.e. my current kernel doesn't support cifs. I'll check it out a bit more later.
