Can anyone recommend anywhere that does good and cheapish eco packaging for CDs? We want to get 100 made. All we can find are places in the Uk, a bit expensive. We just want cardboard sleeves with artwork outside, liner notes inside and some info on the back.

    Thanks

    Can I ask why?

From what I understand (maybe I'm wrong), petroleum products are used in the manufacture of the Compact Disc itself, so are you really achieving anything by looking for the more expensive Eco Packaging version?

If you really want to cut down on materials, why not just release it online?

Apologies if I come across as a cynic. I'm just puzzled by what the appeal of Eco Packaging products are when it comes to CDs.

It looks like something certain bands do so they can make their release appear more “exclusive”, more “organic”. Nothing wrong with that I guess. Just another form of marekting.
