    Hi,

I am planning on visiting India in late April/early May. My plan is to spend a month in India then in June use Air Asia and Jetstar to go to SE Asia and Australia in June/July.

My question is this have any of you booked flights with Ebookers and the like? On the ebookers website Dublin-London-Delhi on the 9th of May with Virgin Atlantic is €345.47. On the Virgin Atlantic website the same flight costs €1,206.80. Are Ebookers trustful in this respect?

An other such website is www.ticketstoindia.co.uk they claim because they bulk buy their flights they can offer up to 70% off flights in some cases. They offer one-way flights from Heathrow-Delhi with Air India on the 6th May '11 for £321.13. They also offer alot of one-way flights from Heathrow to India with Kuwait Airways for slightly over £300.

    Any help much welcomed.

Yup, I've booked with eBookers. No problem with them at all. Same with Expedia. Sometimes you get some good deals, it's good to shop around :pac:

    No idea about the ticketstoindia.

So was the price much cheaper than booking with the airline?

Generally they find the cheapest price, but only when you need to get connecting flights. When I have tried to go to the airlines the flight seems more expensive more often than not. It's still worth digging around though.

eBookers are very unflexible on changing flights and one time I was in the US and wanted to change my flight I had the abandon the return journey and book separate flights home.
