I would like to do a complete delete and restore iPhone 4, IOS 4.1 Baseband 02.10.4 to the same just in case an unlock solution comes. I have SHSH blobs saved for 4.1.

    Do I use Tiny Umbrella?

not sure what your are saying, are you 4.2 and want to go back to 4.1...you can downgrade firmwares but not basebands !

if you just want to downgrade to 4.1 you just need to edit your host file, so it points to cydia server, tons of posts here on how to do it, download a copy of 4.1 from iclarified, and restore using itunes

you might only need tinyumbrella if iphone gets stuck in recovery mode, TU can kick it out of this

iPhone is currently on 4.1 and with baseband 02.10.4 and I would like to restore to 4.1 and baseband 02.10.4 (assuming I cannot downgrade the baseband)

ah i see, you want to reinstall 4.1 without being forced to take to 4.2.1 update is it !!

if so, open notepad as admin, open this file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

add this line to the end of the file as a new line and save
    74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

download a copy of ios 4.1 for ip4 here

open itunes, press shift and restore, and locate the 4.1 firmware you downloaded...

    Restore !
