    Hello,

    I have an I-trap for my Golf but its gash. Whats the best way to hook up my ipod...I know you can get a new stereo for the car with a Ipod Aux but is there any other (cheaper) way of doing it? Cheers.

    If you were looking for a hands free as well get the Parrot MKI 9200. It has an ipod connection and a small colour screen. All you music and calls are through your speakers. A great piece of kit.

    What head unit?

    Got the Parrot as above for my Passat which has the same head unit as Mark V Golf, great yoke, can cause the iPod to freeze ocassionally

    Did you know you can update the software on it using a memory stick.:) Look at the Parrot website under support and downloads. Mine done that but works like a dream now!!!

    Just sold the Passat but good to know.
    Worked perfectly with my Creative so I wasn't too worried.

    Best handsfree kit I ever had too
