Would it make sense to add a sticky so that anyone in the golf business could highlight any offers or deals that they want to promote...

ie discounts on lessons, green fees, memberships, clubs

I'm not related in any way to the business end of golf but obviously during these times it is one that I would like to see suceed...

I wouldn't think so. Very unfair to those who pay for advertising, and when a good deal comes about, it's generally put somewhere here anyway.

With regard to not being fair to those who paid for advertising... I had a lesson recently from a PGA professional who will be shutting down at the end of the year after over 10 years in the business.
Just suggesting a small forum to help guys like that out reach out to new customers..

If you have something to sell then it can be done on adverts.ie, promoting various businesses (even if its only a one man show) is against boards.ie policy.
