I got the gt, great wheel. But there's a big difference in price between that and The g25. I think the g27 is the newer model. If money is no object get it. I reckon the gt for €100 will be the most popular wheel

I got the DFGT at the weekend and played it for the first time today on DIRT and have to say its amazing, heard good reviews about it but its better than what i expected. Has a large learning curve but after two hours i was comfortable with it. Definately worth the money.

Haven't used the G25 but from what the DFGT is like I'd say it's amazing, if you can afford it and will get plenty of use out of it then I would get it.

Take into account for mounting the wheel, If you have a desk that's suitable in height then you wont need to worry. If your anyway handy then you could make one yourself very cheaply. Here's a link of one i found on google:
    http://berserk.org/gt4/

You can buy a stand for it:

If you need to buy a stand then I'd go for the DFGT as it would be pretty expensive unless you can afford it.

I'd find out if the clutch on the G25 is compatible with GT5, that would be a big factor.

I've asked around on a couple of other forums and the two suggestions within my price range which keep coming back are

    1) http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9004179/Trail/searchtext%3ESTEERING+WHEEL.htm

    2) http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-963416-0403-G25-Racing-Wheel/dp/B000GP8448

Which one's better lads in your opinion, or would you recommend a different one?

    Cheers.

GT25 is obviously the better one but you'll be paying lots of money for it. Ive got the GT and its a great wheel for 99 euro.

One detail that was important for me was that with the G25 or G27, the gears are removable - they can be put on the left, like I'm used to. With the DFGT, the gears are (I think) stuck on the right of the wheel.

Try komplett.ie . They have a pick up point in Dublin somewhere . Might be slightly more expensive than say pixmania.ie but you've peace of mind seeing as you can bring it back if need be
