Thorn Audax mk3 frame and fork
Size: 55cm (medium) I am 5ft 10 ½ “ and fits me perfect. See sizing chart in this PDF brochure if you want details of all the dimensions.
Bought 2009, have original bill of sale
Lovely BRG (british racing green) colour. Looked nice with brown leather saddle and bar tape. Would look even lovelier with a silver campag groupset.
Rarely used. Couple of tiny scratches and small dent on underside of top tube
    Inside frame tubes rustproofed
Comes with Cane Creek headset – as new condition, and Tektro deep drop brakes
Stem not included - just there to keep the headset and fork in place for now.
Bought on the strength of this bikeradar review. Lovely classic steel ride. The steel fork with its lowrider bosses makes it highly suitable for light touring duties, but Thorn also has a carbon fork upgrade available for a slightly more sporting orientation.
Selling to help fund purchase of a Surly Cross Check frame and fork. (I actually really want to hang onto it, but the higher than expected cost of upgrading is forcing the sale)
    Asking €220.
Based in Celbridge, Co Kildare. Would prefer collection but may be able to deliver to greater Dublin area.

Hi Itsfixed, only new to boards so still learning rules. I think I am supposed to keep all discussions public. Therefore, could you confirm how bad dent in frame is and how it occurred? I would be interested in making an offer on frame assuming satisfactory answer to the above. Thanks. Dg

    Hi Dg

Apologies, haven't signed into boards.ie for a little while since xmas so didn't see your reply.

I've PM'd you, but suffice to say the dent is very small and practically unnoticeable. Tried to capture it in the pics but since its so small, you can't really see it there.
