    true whey, a mixture of whey concentrate and whey isolate, with digestive enzymes, 77% protein per serving

    impact whey, is whey concentrate, just whey with nothing else



    Go with whey concentrate(my protein call it impact whey, impact whey is not a type of whey but a name made up by myprotein), its cheaper, higher % of protein per serving over 80%.

    Thats it really.

    Thanks for the advice! Why would people buy the ture stuff then? What does the whey isolate do?

    the isolate is supposidly a faster acting protein, total BS if you ask me.only diff between isolate and conctrate is isolate has less carbs, fat, lactose and the isolate has higher protein %

    Why would you buy True whey over the impact whey, well a few reasons
    1. Its in a tub, some people prefer tubs
    2. Has digestive enzymes
    3. I a mixture of whey, the isolate would reduce the amount of lactose in the product making it less harsh on the stomach(only if you usually have stomach issues with lactose)

    Just remember Whey is food, its used to fill a nutritional gap in your diet
    If you can get enough protein from your diet you do not need whey, however whey can be beneficial post workout for revovery.

    Are you saying that it isn't digested faster? Or that digestion speed doesn't make a difference to gains?

    The second part, honestly the difference will be marginal on gains if any difference at all. Unless you compete as a pro bodybuilder or have lactose issues Whey concentrate is all you need.

    Also Whey on its own does not contribute to lean tissue gains
    Training, calories, rest do.
    Whey only fills the nutritional gaps as its hard for most to eat so much food.

    So isolate versus concentrate, its up to the consumer but i cant see the logic in payin the extra for an isolate other than lactose issues or higher % of protein per serving(get concentrate and take 1.5 scoops, still works out better value)

    Yeah I agree. Just want to check if which you meant.
    same applies to Hydyo-whey imo, its not justified for 99% of people

    Yeh exactly.

    I was reading a report on that hydro whey(tried to find it but google stuck 2 fingers up to me), saying that hydro whey may be useless as the protein are too small and the body cant process them effectively making hydro whey useless to a certain degree.(not my opinion, its the opinion of sum professor dude)
