Create Bikes

I have noticed Create bikes are becoming more & more visible in Dublin bike shops. I have read terrible things about these bikes & don't want to put down the shops who are selling them, but there are some really good brands out there too, although a little more expensive - such as Charge, Fuji etc...

Is the poor reputation of create bikes unfounded or should people stay well clear of them?

Heres an example of some of the negativity towards them: http://www.lfgss.com/thread23593.html

I have a co worker with one and it seems fine, and from what I hear, year on year they are improving. They were meant to be complete muck a few years ago but nowadays the major gripe seems to be wheels going out of true and thats it.

Well i dont like the fact that there are loads of Claude Butler bikes out there but i dont rant about it.

FFS...all bikes break if you treat them like a muppet.

Natural selection if you buy a Crate* bike anyway

    *pun-e intended
