Try amazon.co.uk, but they're quite expensive. I picked up mine from ebay.co.uk from someone who had two, for around £10 but deals like that would be quite rare.

I bought a replacement from Amazon - €40 or so.

As soon as I received it, I found the old one.

Thanks lads - picked one up on the Garmin website for 50 notes...not cheap.

no doubt I'll find the old one now....

What is the advantage of having one ??

No advantage at all, unless you own a 405, which transmits activities (runs) wirelessly using the USB stick. You're a 305 man, right?

It's a pain in the ass isn't it, I've been stung once already for 40 quid.
Wireless should always just be an option, you should also be able to transfer data over usb I reckon.
Just another part you can lose and get heavily stung to replace.

It certainly is Patrick - I actually lost it a month ago but have been very reluctant to replace it since. I had to bite the bullet as I have a backlog of stuff to transmit from the watch to the training log at this point....

I lost my USB stick as well. Will the Garmin USB stick you purchased also work on 310XT?

    Yep. Here it is: linky
Click on compatible devices, and it lists the 310xt, 410, 405, FR50 etc.

It's $29 from amazon.com if you know anyone travelling to the US.

Thanks for that Krusty. It's ordered.
