Find an under-serviced community, a specific demographic or a specific profession, and create a social network/eMagazine. Then try to spin revenue sources off the base community through services.

I would also recommend that you read business mags & newspapers (Financial Times is great for entrepreneurs) as well as developing passions & hobbies, which will better equip you with the information & experience to find some service that people want. It can come from the most unlikely places. I began gardening and growing veg a couple of years ago during college and now I am setting up a web-business that I believe has huge potential.

    Goodluck;)

Easy and starting a business is an oxymoran in my opinion. If its easy to start then it has little chance of success as anyone can "easily" start a competitive business and theres always a greater fool out there willing to loose money and work longer hours for less pay.

On a constructive note, look at companies that are successful abroad but havent arrived on the Irish shores yet. The less competition you have to fight off the better your chance as survival.

    Good luck.
