Do many garages do these? I see a lot of "full service for €150" and the like but I'm just looking for an oil and filter change for a 1.9 diesel.

Do garages use good quality oil and if not, can you supply your own?

    Cheers

Doing an Oil and filter change is a very basic DIY job. Why not do it yourself and you can be sure of the Oil being a good quality.

Yes it is a handy job to do yourself and it would be cheaper.

Fair enough and I do it on my motorbike, but I would like to get the all important stamp for the service log book :o

Minor Service is usually oil & filter.
