    Hi
Ive just came across M&M Direct when browsing online and their prices look to be amazing.
In particular I was looking at Timberland boots as I was thinking of getting my oh a pair for Xmas and they are so much cheaper than in the shops -Is this too good to be true?

Has anyone used this site before?

    Thanks x

Yeah Ive used them before. I think delivery is free if you order over €35 worth of stuff. The first time I ordered I got the stuff delivered to my parents house which was fine as Mam was home all day. The second time my boyf ordered and the stuff is delivered by a courier and since we weren't home it went back to the depot at Dublin Port. Its a bit of a pain to go collect so Id recommend you get it delivered to somewhere there'll be someone home all day. I think it has to be delivered to the billing address though.

Very bad experience with them personally. It's the stuff that nobody wants after sales and the like I imagine.

Delivery and everything was good but clothes were very poor quality or something wrong with them etc.

Thats it exactly, it's basically an online tk maxx!

Still some good bargains to be found amongst the rubbish though

Hmmm yeah, I bought brand name stuff -I tend to when buying from TK Maxx type online places, how do you know if the quality is really any good otherwise? The stuff I bought was great though :)

They don't take laser to my knowledge; they do take Visa debit cards, like the new Permanent TSB cards which they're replaced Laser with ...

I've used em a couple of times with no hassle. Bought mainly shoes which were perfect and fitted as size specified. Bought a t shirt too which was quiet flimsy material but would recommend.

Ive had a look at the ladies section and it seems to be quite old stock - as mentioned above.

But the mens range is alot better - in particular the Voi range looks good.
I have ordred a few jumpers for my bf. Decided against the boots as the colour looks a bit funny compared to what Ive seen in shops etc (Cud just be the picture) but I dont want to take the chance, Id rather just spend the extra in hope etc and see the quality etc.

I've got exams coming up so I'm doing the majority of my xmas shoppin online this year. The postman is going to be busy :)

Finding it hard to find good sites for mens clothes - I need to get something for brothers, dad & bf etc.
Im not that impressed with asos for men either, is quite expensive.
    Any suggestions?

No probs. Chemical records has some really excellent brands and unusual bits, it does take a while to browse though because they have so much and you can't filter by price or anything.

    Happy hunting!
