42k for a Sharan? Galaxy or Alhambra ftw...that's just silly money

Sharan is all-new and no longer any relation to Galaxy or Alhambra, and its the same price as a Galaxy. They don't expect to sell many, maybe 100

But identical to the new Alhambra and anyone that pays list for a Ford needs their head checked!

True on the Seat, no word on how much that will cost yet

At least the last time a Golf cost that much it had a V6. Now it has the same engine as a GTI, just with a bigger turbo.

Great to hear that ESP will be standard on the Polo.

This is really embarrassing for Toyota now, still no ESP on their Golf competitior let alone their Polo competitor.

Why do they persist with listing the Fox, nobody buys it here.

New Jetta due to arrive in May as well. No longer just a Golf with a boot and the picture they had looked really well - although I suspect that had some sort of sport kit on and will bear no resemblence to the 1.6Tdi Trendline we'll see more of here.

Longest car in it's class, so they say - so must be bigger than a Fluence, which is bordering on the size of the next class up.

Prices for the Jetta will start at €21,765 for the 1.4Tsi Trendline and €23,710 for the 1.6tdi model. Spec is slightly higher than the equivalent Golf, all models will get a Leather MFSW, but steel wheels on the Trendline.

Interestingly, the Comfortline and Highline models will get Cruise Control even though VW have decided it's not a requirement on the Passat equivalent models.

Saw the new Passat in the flesh yesterday (LHD Model). Front is very nice and the back of the Saloon is very classy, but the side profile - and especially on the Variant, is the same as the B6 model. Interior looks the same except for an Analogue clock in the centre of the trim above the radio.

Only that it's due in 2011, but as it was the Fleet conference and it's not expected to be a big fleet seller, they didn't really go in to much detail :pac:
