    Hey all,

Did an NCT recently and found that HC and CO emissions are off the scale - more than ten times the allowed tolerance for both. The car is only a run-around so I don't want to spend a fortune getting this sorted. Is there an easy fix? Someone suggested using Dipetane which I did but to no avail. All suggestions welcome!

Well, what are the figures exactly(HC&CO) and what car it is?

    It's also not that uncommon for a 9-5 to emit 0.00 % and HC 0 or 1 PPM if it's 05 or newer :-)
