I'm looking to set up a band in Dublin, I just moved up here after spending a few years with a band in Galway. I'm a pianist / keyboard player, and have been playin for about 13 years. Brought up on classical piano, and my main influences for writing now are Children of Bodom, Dream Theatre, Stratovarius, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, etc.
I'm serious about my music, and have a great passion for composing and performing. I'm on the look out for dedicated musicians who would have some common tastes, and who could also bring something new to the table.
I'm looking to do something like symphonic metal. So far, there is myself and a Slovakian opera singer, with a great voice and a great attitude. I am taking my time looking for musicians, as it seems dedicated musicians are hard to come by.

Would you be interested in meeting and having a jam with us, would you be interested in the style of music?

We're a band looking for a drummer. Its myself on guitar, the singer who plays guitar and the bassist, we're all in our 30's. We're an originals band,few covers now and agan- music a bit like allman brothers, creedence clearwater, early clapton,c.s.n.y.,neil young, pearl jam and heaps of other bands.
We're looking to record an album and do some good gigs- -we've recorded and played loads of gigs in the past with other bands, so we have good experience. It'll be a relaxed attitude we have a rehearsal space in north county Dublin but would be willing to jam in town. Cheers Ron.
