Hi all again, after advice from board members i've jailbroken my iPhone 3gs using and then installed cydia. To be honest i'm unsure what to do next how do I use etc.....

SBSettings is pretty much the only cydia app i've ever used.

must have apps, winterboard, download this, its a theme manager, you can completely give your idevice a complete makeover, download different themes, complete themes, lock screen themes, icon themes what ever, they then can be activated/deactivated through the Winterboard app, Sbsettings is a must also ! few tweaks apps i use, lockscreen clock hide, infinifolder - folders in folders, and no limit to amount of apps you can have inside a folder, Iconoclasm, lets me have a 5x5 icon layout, androidlock xt - childproofs the lock screen, handy when you have a 2 yr old that can use the slider to unlock the phone ! Safari download manager , iphone delivery report !!

why did you jailbreak if you dont know why ?

my advice would be if you dont know why to jailbreak - dont bother.

if you want to customise your phone - buy a pink cover :pac:

be careful with androidlock xt
I just got the app and all of a sudden it decided it wouldn't accept diagonal swipes
Had to reboot it in safe mode and uninstall...thank god for sbsettings...
