Plenty of men have been for years. Not my cup of tea but I didn't really think this or the guy liner counted as something new.

I don't know any man who wears fake-tan, but I do know a ginger fella who goes on the sunbed for the winter.

I wind him up about them all the time, the sunbed and being ginger!

Dont think the sunbed is a wise thing to do for gingers higher risk of Melanoma along with freckles.
A lot of Rugby players seem to be taking after Gavin Henson with the bronze look,(even doh he was taking it a bit too far) for me i think the sunbed is ok as long as your not using it everyday ;)

Q: Are men starting to wear fake tan ???
A: No, its been going on for ages. Its part of that whole metrosexuality thing.

Though blokes are generally worse at putting it on. While with girls you can usually see the line just where it hits their chins and stops suddenly, so their face and neck are completly different colors, sometimes you see guys whove missed major areas.

Sometimes in a pub in Dublin City Center, you can get in alot of trouble singing Oompa Loompa.

Think they're a bit on the extreme side of it.

I used it a few years ago, that Johnsons Holiday sun, before going away on holidays, just to get the tan started also tried a sun bed. Didn't have a problem using it but definetly didn't want to end up looking like an Umpa Lumpa.

Jesus H. Christ I knew this was coming.

Remember when men didn't use moisturiser and our skin didn't fall off? Now guys aren't even embarrassed about using it. All it took was a few nivea ad campaigns and idiots are shelling out

Foundation/make up will be next. Of course maybelline would love to double their profits. Then we'll be in the awful situation women face where they're basically forced into wearing make up because the rest of the competition are all wearing it.

I urge thee fellow gentlemen not to fall into this trap.

Point taken our skin didn't fall off, but it does feel a lot better now:D

Never have, never will.If a bloke wants to moisturise cos he's feeling a bit craggy then so be it however for the whole guido fake tan/sun bed look, they deserve a slap in the head.

Referring to the above pictures: Guidos are an American thing...it wont catch on over here.

I do know two/three lads who have worn it a bit yeah, they live in my area. A few do sunbeds too, and not for skin problems either, but purely for that Cristiano Ronaldo look of a perma-tan...

My name is kaiser sauze and I moisturise daily, sometimes twice a day!

I'm obviously not metrosexual enough yet, I had to look them up.

A gay friend of mine does wear them, and that's right here in Ireland!

Over here, (down under) guys wear uggs all the time. They were around for 80 years before they became a fashion item.

Nothing wrong with guys wearing Ugg boots. (as long as they're not sparkly ones with tassles)

I have to admit that I'd never even consider wearing them, even if they had a picture of Chuck Norris on them.

What is wrong with looking after dry skin? How exactly is it manly to walk around with flaky skin on your face? There is nothing wrong with using a moisturizer after shaving or a shower.

Rangers football player Kenny Miller just does it on his face leaving the hairline and neck white

What happened to good old vaseline :/ Chapped lips are horrible, and it helps a tonne if you're working outside. E45 cream for face etc is also acceptable, works well with eczema too.

What I cant understand is men falling for products such as "Gilett Hydra Energising Pre Face wash" and...post wash. They have a range of about 7 products for shaving related moisturising alone.

vaseline is known for being exteremly bad for your lips! it dries out more so you keep buying the product , making you hope that yout not just putting on enough.
its also really bad for the face in general , it clogs up pores big time, there is a prodcut call un-pertroleum jelly aka organic vasline that is great for the face.
I agree with buying products like "Gilett Hydra Energising Pre Face wash" its all money making. Even the womens products.
During summer if my face got dry I would use extra virgin olive oil. doesnt smell great but works wonders and I think I paid about 2 euro for a bottle. During winter though with all the bad weather id used E45 cream and carmex for the lips.

Seriously :o I mean the vaseline lip-balm tub stuffs.. that when bored in work you can play ice hockey with :P I always thought it protected lips and such... :/ Perhaps I've fallen for silly commercialisation too :/

I didnt mean use it on face... never really had dry skin there.

yeah the tubs are the worst, the trap in heat is all they dont, dont moisturise at all. for lips a waxed based product is best.

I know you didnt mean on your face , that part was for anyone using it on their face.. dont!!

Swarfega, that's what real men use. I clean under my foreskin with it everyday. And a brilo pad of course! No 'cleansing' wipes for me.

Guys using moisturiser - fine. There's nothing "manly" about having dry flaky skin.

Guys using fake tan - depends to what extent they use it. A light application that's just about noticeable would be ok, I think. Like I've never used fake tan but I'm very pale, and would want to be a bit more tanned if I was going somewhere hot. So I'd probably consider it.
The guido look is ridiculous but I can't see it catching on over here. So long as guys don't look like Oompa Loompas, I don't think there's much of a problem.

Guys wearing Uggs - yeah it looks silly but in fairness they do look comfortable. :o

Guys wearing eyeliner - not really seen it but it's probably not a good look. Unless you're David Bowie.
