Mods if this is not in the correct place, please change. I have a 46 ins Samsung LCD TV ( 2 years old ) and a Sky + box and lately 2 very fine vertical lines, very close to each other ( nearly on top of each other ), appear on the left hand side of the screen only. This does not happen all the time. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

Sounds like an overscan issue, when picture overscan is turned on in my Panasonic a few mm's of the actual broadcast is always chopped off around the four edges and when it is turned off you can get tiny black lines like you describe.

Not being familar with your TV I can't add much more, look up overscan in the manual and and try turning it off and on incase that is the cause.
