    Does anyone have any opinions on how much a 4 inch shorter barrel would affect an AEG (accuracy and range wise)? from 14 to ten inches say? Thanks in advance for any help :)

    Not even noticeable, once you have a decent hop up, that mainly determines your range and accuracy.

    Example, a TM P90 stock config can match the range of most M14 AEGs, purely down the hopup unit TM use in their P90s.
