    You'll get it on Steam no problem if that's any help to you. Alternatively it's on Amazon.

    I don't think it exists as a purchasable hard copy. I would just buy it from the frictional games site themselves.

    Steam. They sell games digitally. But you have to sign up for a steam account and it's tied to that account. Good in that you can log in and download it any time. Bad in that you are forced to use the steam program to run it so they have a high level of control over your games.

    I don't know how the setup is for the one you download directly from the site is.

    Edit: Looks like the one from the site is DRM free. I'd prefer to get it from there and store the installer yourself if you need to reinstall in the future.

    If you're a PC gamer who does not yet have Steam installed then you are missing out, big time.

    Regardless of where you get Amnesia: The Dark Descent from install Steam so as to be ready for the Christmas sales.

    Other online stores include:
    Impulse
    Direct2Drive
    good old games
    games for windows live

    Each generally run sales with decent reductions so it's always worthwhile holding out until the games go on sale rather than buying at the standard price (this is especially true for Steam).
