itunes not transfering music

    HI,

    I recently put some new music on my mac. I loaded a few cd's, downloaded some and got some files from friends but all were kosher.

    I plugged my ipod in to transfer and it wont work. It usually does it automatically but nothing is happening. I tried to drag & drop but that wont work either.

    Any suggestions??

    is the sync music box ticked, to drag and drop the manually manage music and videos box has to be ticked

    no its not ticked. I never had it ticked, ever!!

    IL tick it now and see what happens.
