    Very interesting....
I bought a Western Digital TV HD Live Media Player for 110euro just last week.
This seems to have the exact same spec but with the option to connect a full time HDD for half the price...
I think i might return the Western Digital player...

    Any other comments on this?
Seems to be generally positive online
How long do ibood take to deliver etc?

Specs do look okay, I would imagine western digital might provide better support and upgrades since their players have been around longer

    hmmm.

I have an Asus O! Player, a Zyxel DM2500 Media Player.
I bought a WD HD Media player from Gruup.com last week.
    Never mind the xbox360/ps3

So I really do need on of these seagate media palyers.

I do have a 500 gb Seagate drive that will fit in it. So I can kind of justify the purchase. :/

I like playing with the mods for these yokes and no kids...yet :)

what does this yoke do exactly ??
    why is it necessary ?
I can watch movies from my computer through a hdmi connection to my t.v. is this any use to me?
or is it possibly an xmas pres.for my brother whose laptop does not have this connection......presently i think he puts a usb stick into his dvd....
    is this item better,

    sound,

Review is correct but the firmware one on Amazon you linked to is for an older non + 1080i version.

This one in the 1080p + Version

Pretty much the same thing really except it can connect to the internet via a cable to see youtube. Gimicks really but it is true 1080p and plays .mkv files aswell as recgonising FAT32 and NTFS drives. If connected to the internet/home router it can also be a media centre to play/stream files directly for any pc/laptopn on the network. I think it come with software that you install on said PC's etc to do this.

The latest downloads for it can be found here...
