Any one had the timing belt on their car changed by walsh motors in Belfast, was looking them up and they seem well priced compared to south.

Not had work done personally but i would give Eugene Walsh the thumbs up heard many many good reports back about him.

There are a few reputable Independent Garages down south that can match him on service and perhaps on price too, where are you based?

I have been to Walsh Motors a couple of times and I consider it well worth a 6hr + round trip. If I had found Boards.ie & Walsh Motors when I had a Galaxy dsl I would have saved myself a lot of money. Now that I have a Passat I expect I will have plenty of reason to visit Belfast.

Hi, have 06 passat, will be heading up end of April to avail of belt kit/water pump for 220sterling. Have been up with Eugene a number of times in the past few years. I highly recommend. No nonsense, sound man.

    +1

Got the timing belt done by him on a passat I had. Top work carried out... All fluids were also checked and topped up if needed.. Car was dropped off at 9am and had it back after lunch..
    Cost IIRC €350
