Nice selection of videos aimed at coaching juvenilles, put together on the New York Road Runners site.
Very professional, with tutorials at the beginning of each module and then practical examples.

Brilliant, brilliant link, can't thank you enough for this BB. Love the way the emphasis is on fun, games, enjoyment; to keep the kids interested and coming back. What kid wouldn't want to do the "kick your butt" warm-up?:D

Quick aside, last year I was switched to training the 5-8 year olds for one session. I'm a bit of an old-school hard bast*rd, so didn't know what to do with them- screaming at them to run past the line wouldn't work. A flash of inspiration, and I asked them "how would a dinosaur run?"- instantly forty kids were doing instinctual "giant step" strides (accompanied by loud roaring noises). The rest of the "session" we mimicked monkeys, roadrunners, robots, hopping one-leg aliens- best training night ever. Next week was a bumper crew, they all brought their friends. Unfortunately for them, we had swopped back, so they got Mr. Whistle and "Pick up dem knees".
