Hi there, I used to have a laptop with Windows XP and I had a canon MP360 Printer, scanner copier which worked perfectly on it.

The my laptop broke so I got another one and this has Vista on it. When I installed the canon software I had to go to Canons website and install drivers to get it to pring properly but I cannot get it to Scan at all now.

The Canon toolbox is no longer present and I cannot scan from the printer panal itself. Has anyone else come across this problem and how did they get around it.

    Cheers.

Is there a printer/scanner icon in Windows Explorer or the device manager?

Drivers control the device at a system level, they aren't the Canon software utility you were using before, you'll also need to install that too.
