Yeah you see that post doesn't offer very much. We get it, you dislike Irish Hip-Hop. I've no issue with that, I do however have an issue if you're going to post stuff like this in every thread related to Irish Hip-Hop.

Yeah, point out any reference to post length you can find to back that up.

My initial point of that was you're first post in this thread was little more than flame bait it had nothing to do with the fact that you dislike the content. That's all explained in my first post in this thread.

It's a discussion forum, if you dislike something why not elaborate on why you dislike rather than post something like "that's crap"? That doesn't just go for negativity towards content but a throw away negative comment is a lot more likely to irk people than a throw away positive comment.

Please read what's actually written in the posts rather than try to insinuate something is being said that isn't.

A contradictory viewpoint is interesting. It'd be dull if everybody liked the same stuff.

But it's equally dull when someones goes "that's shyt" or "that's great" and has nothing to back it up with.

Plus you've got crappy manners. If someone walked into your local pub and started asking the regulars who the fcuk they were to be involved in a conversation then they'd last about 5 minutes before they were kicked out on their arse.

This forums pretty much anything goes (ugh.. even 2 Pac) but social skills are always nice so try and not be such a knob if you can manage it.

its a public forum,they're are very few rules on forums,elaborating would help but no where does it say ever post must be an elaboration/epic of the point you want to make.

I think Nugget's a deysent MC, the battle footage on YT he's in are usually daysent, but spamming for likers on forums aint cool, maybe you shoudl stick some free traks on the freebies thread and then get some likes that way.

Who's the MC from the north?, Ive seen on a few of the battles, he's really tight and has a good flow too.

Nugget does do those other things. A bit of forum spam is essential as well though. You have to be a bit of a spammer these days because there's so much music going around. A lot of musicians are still breaking out through extensive Myspace spamming i.e. The New Boyz.

There's not that many blogs and sites to whore your music around to be honest. There are only a handful of Irish blogs that have decent traffic and they wouldn't typically cover Irish rap. The more international sites wouldn't be that interested for the most part. Sure, Rob Kelly gets blogged on DJ Semtex's site but he'd still only get a couple of hundred Soundcloud listens from that. You'd get that off message boards in a day if you stuck the track in your signature.

There's plenty...yea there's a snobbery among most of the Irish music website tosser concerning hiphop but I know MCs should be prepared put in the work if they want to find someone to pay attention to them y'know? Blanket mailing or spammer to 100s of people is useless, spend more time on it and find the 5/6 guys that might actually cover it.
