Looking for BMW E46 320d Brake Calliper

Hi Folks,

I have a 2002 320d and it has just failed the NCT due to serious braking imbalance and the mechanic said I need a replacement front driver side Brake Callipers.

Buying new would break the bank but does anyone know where I'd get one used in good condition?

Rebuild it if you're at all handy with a spanner. Much cheaper and not difficult. Kit for both front should be 20 - 30 squids from main dealer. Or go to schmiedmann.com.
Look for tutorials on youtube.

Thanks for the suggestion but I wouldn't be confident enough to mess with that. I got the price from BMW for just one driver side caliper and it is a whopping €316 inc VAT.

I'll need to come up with an alternative....the search continues.

.. but a bimmer garage won't touch it probably.

Why not just get a good secondhand one and save a fortune? Give Traynors a shout up the North, if you're still stuck, I might be able to source one.

Edit: I see E39 has already pointed you that direction... I can also vouch for eurocarparts, good service.
