With so much coverage of the large topics such as bail outs, banks, government and the economy - which smaller, human stories do you feel are not being reported on Irish radio waves and in print ?

only the usual crap they need to find to fill ten mins at the end of the broadcast:

    "Man annoyed at fence"
    "Puppy has kittens"
"Purple Daffodil found growing beside the M3"

    That kind of shite

No one's been caught with child porn lately.

    Also, the politicans' pay rises.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I've just launched a magazine that's all about my balls.

I was expecting a bit of mainstream press coverage but with this fcuking recession blah blah blah I don't even get a mention in the what's hot/what's not section of The Irish Times and they love self-regarding ego publications like mine normally.

    I'm not a racist, but
White British people will be a minority in their own country by 2066 if current immigration levels continue, a population expert has claimed.
Professor David Coleman, of Oxford University, said the demographic group would make up less than half the population in "little more" than 50 years.

He said the decline will be caused by record-breaking levels of immigration and the migration of thousands of British nationals abroad over the coming decades.

Prof Coleman made the comments as the Migration Advisory Board prepares to announce recommendations on the Government's proposed cap on migrant workers from outside the EU.

I'm not sure, but thank God Swine Flu/Bird Flu etc haven't reared their heads too much this year, the news would have to be extended to 2 hours jumping from recession to pandemics.

We would be watching the latest from Dublin at the round of talks with the IMF then reports coming in of a 16 year old in Portlaoise who sneezed, suspected Bird Flu victim, then live to Government Buildings where Brian Lenihan tells us that everything is all right and we have turned another corner, then we check in on the Bond Markets to see how they reacted in the 32 seconds since the Press Conference, then an update on the possible Portlaoise outbreak of Bird Flu, could it actually be Ebola and how might it affect foreign direct investment in Ireland? Stay tuned to find out but first we have the latest on that enormous controversy from X Factor which broke in the last 3 minutes...
