iPlayer now on Sagemcom Freesat HD box

I received a software update to my sagemcom DSI86HD and now I have an option to use iPlayer on it. I can navigate the menus and select a program to watch but when I try to watch something I get a communication error. I am assuming that it is to with my ip address not being from the UK. Does anyone know how I could somehow…

I am assuming that it is to with my ip address not being from the UK. Does anyone know how I could somehow route the freesat box through a proxy on my PC? I have been able in the past to view iPlayer on my PC with TOR etc.

Any help appreciated.

I heard that the bbc iplayer could be coming to international countries soon so it might not be worth your time getting a proxy (if you can with a stb)
