1911 problem

Hi all
when i load the mag in and pull back the slide to chamber the first round it will not go fully foward,like there is something blocking it.have taken it off and cant see anything.any help greatly appreciated.cheers

Can you take the slide off?

Take a few pics of the magazine lips, and inside of the slide if you can.

Have had the slide off and cudnt see anything wrong.will try get up pics.cheers

Have tried the mags in my other meu and they work fine.cant find camera anywhere to put up pics.any one know where i could send this to get fixed.based in mayo.cheers

Bet its a WE MEU. Had the same problem with my MEU, The slide is getting caught on the outer barrel, Just give it a little fileing and should work away fine. If you look at the visible part of the barrel where a cartridge would fly out on a real 1911 you might notice some scratching on the outer barrel, this is where its getting caught. It might not be the problem with your but ive a funny feeling it is. Hope that helps.

I wonder if the feed nozzle is damaged, does it look broken?

If not the poster above could be right, I don't have any experience with this exact issue and it would seem he does.

its an army meu.il check the slide and outer barrel.hope thats it.cheers man

I dunno if this helps but ive a wilson combat 1911 and this happens on rare occasions and its just the hammer getting caught under the back of the slide

Finally think i found the problem.the loading muzzle seems to be broke at the little square peice at the bottom.there is only bout 3mm broke of it.anybody know where i could get a replacement part.cheers
