    hi

    anyone know what type of engine are in these.. someone said they are still isuzu and opel have taken them over... says its a great engine,, no bother with it ..its an 2004 old model

    nope, two different engines


    isuzu 1.7td mk3 1992 to 1998
    gm x17dtl mk3 1995 to 1998
    gm x17dtl mk4 1998 to 2000
    isuzu 1.7td(y17dt) 2000 onwards to mid 2004
    isuzu 1.7td(z17dtl) 2004 onwards

    so 2004 should be isuzu and turbo should be on the front of the engine and yeah its much better then GM

    its an import and actually says vauxhall on the cover(same as whats on 2.0 dti) but its still the isuzu engine right?

    it should have red TURBO written on the engine cover

    Don't know about that now. I've had nothing but trouble with mine, although it's the new model but also 2004...cdti.
