Is the 3gs availible in 8gb?

    I have seen an Iphone for sale online described as 3gs and 8gb

    Would this be correct? I thought the 3GS model was only in 32gb or 16gb

    Yup, it's right. When Apple bring out a new iPhone model, they reduce the capacity of the predecessor to 8GB.

    o great, thanks. didn't realise that. so would that mean that the phone is quite new? its been sold as 2nd hand

    Yep, would have only been available since the iPhone 4 was out.

    In a voldafone shop recently and asked how much they sold the 3Gs for, and they said that they don't stock it (even though it was in their catalogue). Strange - most likely ill informed staff in the shop.

    You will find it very hard to get a 3GS now from any of the carriers, almost discontinued at this stage...
