    Hi there,

We're looking for a venue in Dublin that can seat around 40 people for the dinner reception. We would also like to hold the "afters" in the same location (around 120 people). Any ideas? Someone mentioned the Burlington Hotel in Dublin 4 and the Cliff Tonwhouse in Dublin 2. Has anyone been there?

    Thanks:)

check this place out...seems nice, we were going to book it but are splitting our party over two days so it wasn't feasible.

Nice restaurant on Nassau St called the The Pigs Ear.

Meant to be very good and overlooks Trinity.

I believe Beaufield Mews is very nice for small weddings.

I had my reception in the Cliff Townhouse when it was Bentley's. They had a private room upstairs that looked out onto the Green that could hold 33 people comfortably, 3 round tables.

As far as I was aware they weren't having any more receptions upstairs as they were turning it into a bar & reception area for pre dinner drinks so you may have to book out the restaurant downstairs if the upstairs room wasn't available which would cost €€€ I would imagine, unless it's a midweek wedding when I'm sure they'd only be delighted to see you.

The upstairs room itself was perfect and ideal for a small wedding reception but there is no way it would accommodate more than 40-50 people.

I shot a wedding there this year and it was great. Owners/staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was really nice and they have lovely gardens at the back to take pictures in - bliss!!

Another +1 on Beaufield Mews. We're having our reception there in Feb next year - brrr!
We have around 130 coming to ours - which is the max they will take.
