    Trying to set up a band based around Dublin. We have a two guitarist/vocalists already but would love a bassist. What kind of music would you like to be playing? You still available?

    Well man,
    Im in college in UCD at the moment but Im from Carlow. Theres nothing much happening down there at all so I was looking to meet up with a few musicians that were interested in playing in a band. Im into all sorts of music. I mean anything, from Fleetwood Mac to Metallica...that diverse ha ha. I like writing new riffs and stuff. I wouldn mind gigging around either. What kind of stuff you into?

    Hey sounds cool, ya I'm from Clare and my friends from Kilkenny but we're both in college in DCU and looking to start a band.

    Ya we've pretty diverse tastes too, unsure what kind of music we wana play. Stuff like Bob Dylan, Dire Straits, Josh Ritter The Beatles but stuff like The Strokes and Pink Floyd and stuff too.

    Hey man hows things? My names Kevin and im in a band thats getting up and running at the min. Im from Kilkenny but we practice in a studio between Carlow and Castledermot. So far we have a singer/rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist and a drummer whose just recently joined the band. We’re looking for a talented bass player. We are influenced by metal and basically everything and anything but were trying to go for a unique sound, one that hasnt been seen around as far as I can tell. Were busy with college and stuff during the week too so we can practise at the weekend.
