Hi all

I have one of these about 2 years. Never any problems with it, fine usable piece of kit.

But about 2 weeks ago it just went dead. On close inspection, a ticking comes from the speaker when on a frequency that is broadcasting and at very very low volume you can just make out the voices on the broadcast.

The speaker seems to be working normally since the sound that accompanies pressing the buttons works fine also since I can hear the broadcast in the background the receiver is presumably ok too.

Anyone have any ideas/advice?

No expert but it might be a problem with your volume button,
