We have 2 tv's in different rooms. We have an aerial ,the uhf one for tv3 and tg4 on the roof. We have a vhf one in the attic.
One tv has both aerials connected to it, by that i mean the two aerials go into a box and one aerial comes out the other side and is then connected to the back of the tv.
The other tv just has the vhf one connected. We want tv3 and tg4 on the other tv as well so do i need another splitter box or can i buy those simple splitters in b and q?
    Thanks
    M

    You'll need a proper UHF/VHF combiner.

Can you not combine both aerials together in the attic using the existing box, then split the signal to both rooms?

Combine your two aerials with this VHF UHF Diplexer, output to a splitter or distribution amp and then on to your TVs.

ok so i see there is a diplexer in the attic that combines the uhf and vhf to one output cable. my question is now can i spilt that one ouput cable into two and connect each spilt to each tele thereby bringing both aerials to both tvs........ if that works, will each tv work independently of each other ie when i change channells in one room, i presume the other one wont change as well. Also, to perform this spilt do i just need to cut the cable and feed the cable into one side of a spiltter and bring 2 RG6 cables out the far side....so many questions....so little time..........

Already answered in my last post. Splitter or distribution amplifier required.

    Yes, they work independently.

Onto the output cable from the diplexer fit an F-connector, attach to the splitter. Same required on the other side of the splitter for the cables going to the TVs.
