Can you have your handicap adjusted without playing in competitions? It cost 10 euro to play in weekly comps at my club and I want to play each week but add this to my membership its a pretty penny over a year. So can I still play with my mates on a comp day but not enter the comp and still get either .1 or cut? I am not being tight with the money but its like paying 2/3 of my membership again over the year. Thanks

No, competition scores are entered in club computer and forwarded to GUI for handicap confirmation. Entering competition means you have to abide by comp rules and regulations for validation of performance. You can contact your club handicap secretary or the GUI for official advice on your query.
